Course:

Perl Scripting

We have the pleasure to inform you about a PhD course in Perl Scripting. It will be given by Pawel Salek at the Department of Theoretical Chemistry, KTH. There will be 6 lectures, starting from 9th of October (the dates are shown below). For each lecture there will be exercises to be solved by the students. The goal is to learn scripting tools which can facilitate everyday work such as analyzing output files (see also below).

The course will give 3 points (4.5 in the new system) for following the lectures and solving the exercises. Students can additionally choose to do a small individual project, which will give 1 additional point (1.5 in the new system). The project will give the students opportunity to train their skills not only in Perl but also to exercise proper programming and documentation style.

If you are interested in following the course, please send an email to Kathrin, kathrin-at-theochem.kth.se.
