2004-07-01: Hiring Angelika Baranowska, from Torun (Polan), for a 6-month period lasting to Dec. 31st, 2004. Supervision by dr. Antonio Rizzo (Pisa, IPCF, CNR) and dr. Sonia Coriani (Trieste, Dept. of Chemistry, University). Her project will be Ab initio theoretical analysis and computation of electric and magnetic optical properties, with emphasis on the study of birefringences, in particular those induced by optical external fields, interaction induced frequency dependent linear and non-linear properties and in general molecular light scattering properties. Application to molecular systems, with specific emphasis on chiral species.
